Can you learn to be more popular?
Can you learn to be popular?
I am sick and tired of being shy and quiet and boring! I want to live in a more exciting way and to be just more confident.
Kind of like those make over shows where they turn a dull boring girl into a really cool, popular cheerleader type. Like Made on MTV.
I want to be like:

Or I really really want to be just more like:

How can I change?
What steps should I follow? Is there like a guide or any books about being more of a popular person?
you can be yourself and popular too
first of all if ur not happy with ur looks you can always get a new haircut or let some of ur girl-friends help you put make up and so on
then be friendly with everyone, and start making friends step by step ,soon you will be popular and friendly while being yourself ( but a bit prettier

you should be happy with who you are. and you should NEVER want to be an airheaded cheerleader, its just wrong.

You can learn…but why would you want to? You should just be yourself. Otherwise people will catch on eventually that you are being fake.

Don’t be popular! Be your self. I hate almost all popular kids with a passion! Be your self please don’t add another airhead blonde that lives in her own little world and thinks more about how she looks and what other people think than what she thinks of herself and couldn’t care less about what is happening to anyone else besides them selves to the population.

The most important thing you can do is be true to yourself. If you seek validation externally, you will become shallow and eventually less popular because of it. It may not have the most results immediately, but it will pay off in the long run.
As far as how to do it, I would recommend trying something such as free-writing daily where you just write anything that comes to your mind. This will help you figure out how you think and how you feel about different things. As far as showing more external confidence, stop caring so much about what other people think and just talk to people and make connections. Even if you have some bad experiences, learn from them and they will help you be more socially confident.

Never change the person you are!
All you have to do is to gain a little more self esteem in yourself and make new friends… I know it will be hard, but in the end people will come to realise what a brilliant person you are!
Even going into school with a bouncy new attitude like you don’t give a toss about anything will even make sudden changes!
Don’t worry, believe in yourself more and you will see the results!
Best wishes
